What genres do you work with?I work with a wide range of genres including fantasy, sci-fi, romance, horror, magical realism, contemporary fiction, young adult, and more. If your story doesn’t fit neatly into a box, that’s totally fine—I love genre-bending work. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and ask!
-
What if I’m not sure which package to choose? No worries! Just fill out the form that feels closest to what you need, and mention your questions in the notes. I’ll reach out to help you find the best fit.
-
Do you offer payment plans or custom bundles? For larger projects or multi-service bundles, yes—I’m open to creating something custom that works for both of us. Just message me!
-
How are my files handled? All manuscripts and submitted documents are reviewed with care and permanently deleted once your project is complete.
-
Will the writing sound like me?That’s the goal. I spend time understanding your voice, tone, and message so that the final content reflects you—not just some generic “content writing.”
-
Will these story ideas be unique?Absolutely! I create custom ideas from scratch based on your preferences.
-
Can you write blog posts for a niche that’s not listed?Absolutely! Just let me know what you’re looking for in the notes section of your form.
-
What if I need a quick turnaround?Depending on my schedule, I can often accommodate rush jobs for an additional fee. Just let me know when you submit your form.
-
What genres do you accept for beta reading?I read self-help, fiction, nonfiction, and personal growth books. If your manuscript falls outside these genres, feel free to message me before placing an order to see if we’re a good fit.
-
I’ve never shared my writing before. Will your feedback be gentle?Always. My feedback is honest but supportive. I’ll meet you wherever you are in your writing journey, without judgment.
-
Do you accept short stories, novellas, or full-length novels?Yes! I work with a variety of manuscript lengths. If your word count exceeds the package limit, you can purchase additional words as an add-on or message me for a custom order.
-
Can I submit fanfiction or experimental work?Absolutely—so long as you’re okay with me responding from a craft and story perspective.
-
Will my manuscript remain confidential?Absolutely! Your work will never be shared, distributed, or discussed with anyone else. All files are deleted after project completion. I take confidentiality seriously and treat every manuscript with respect.
-
What if I need ongoing accountability, not just one check-in?I offer single sessions and recurring check-ins. You can choose what feels right, and we can adjust as you go.

What’s the difference between a Mini Story Critique and a Beta Read?Great question! While both offer feedback on your writing, they serve different purposes: Mini Story Critiques are best for short pieces—like a scene, short story, or sample chapter (up to 3,000 words). You'll get targeted, actionable feedback on flow, clarity, voice, and tone. It’s a great way to test something new or fine-tune a specific section. Beta Reading is for full manuscripts or longer works. It gives you reader-style feedback on your story as a whole—pacing, structure, character arcs, emotional impact, and more. It’s ideal when you’re preparing for revisions or getting close to publication. If you’re not sure which is right for you, feel free to reach out. I’ll help you choose what fits your goals and where you are in the process.
-
What’s the difference between formatting and upload help?Formatting is for preparing your manuscript interior (fonts, layout, TOC, etc.). Upload help is for setting up your book on Amazon KDP—choosing categories, uploading files, and getting everything positioned for launch.
-
What’s the difference between eBook and paperback formatting?• eBook formatting ensures that your book looks great on Kindle and other e-readers (adjustable text, clickable TOC, flowing layout). • Paperback formatting is designed for print and requires proper margins, headers/footers, and page numbers.
-
What file formats do you accept for formatting?I accept Word (.doc or .docx), Google Docs, and plain text files (.txt, .rtf). If your manuscript is in a different format, please message me before placing an order.
-
Will my book be 100% ready to publish after formatting?Yes! I format your manuscript to meet Amazon KDP’s publishing standards. For Premium clients, I also upload your book and help with category & keyword selection to improve visibility.
-
Will I need to give you access to my KDP account?Only if you choose an upload package. I’ll never access your account without your permission, and all credentials are kept confidential and deleted after use.
-
Will I be able to edit my book after formatting? If you need to make changes later, you may want the source file (editable format) as an add-on. Otherwise, you’ll receive PDF (print) and EPUB (eBook) files, which are final versions.
-
Can you format my book for platforms other than Amazon KDP?Yes! While my standard formatting is for Amazon KDP, I can format your book for IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, or Draft2Digital for an additional fee. Please message me for details.
-
What if my book has images, tables, or graphics?I can format them for an additional fee. Please message me before ordering if your book has complex layouts.
-
Do you offer cover design?I do not design covers, but I can format your cover for KDP print books (spine & back cover sizing) as an extra service.

What’s the difference between a book blurb and a book description?Great question—these terms are often used interchangeably, but there are subtle differences: A book blurb typically appears on the back cover of your print book. It’s short, punchy, and emotionally engaging—designed to hook the reader’s interest and give a taste of the story's tone or conflict. A book description is what you see on online retailers like Amazon or Barnes & Noble. It’s usually a bit longer and more structured, written to help readers—and algorithms—understand what your book is about. It often includes a brief synopsis, emotional hooks, genre cues, and sometimes a call to action like “Perfect for fans of…” or “Get your copy today.” If you’re not sure which one you need—or want both—I’m happy to help you choose the best option (or create a bundle with both versions).
-
What types of clients do you work with?I work with people who are ready to step into their voice, own their story, and show up with presence. Whether you're an emerging speaker, entrepreneur, creative, or someone navigating personal growth, if you’re open, curious, and willing to do the work, we’ll be a great fit.
-
What can I expect from a session? Each session is personalized and rooted in where you are right now. Depending on your focus, we might explore mindset shifts, body language, vocal confidence, storytelling, or leadership presence. Expect clarity, gentle accountability, and practical takeaways you can start using right away.
-
I get nervous speaking in front of people. Can this still help me?Absolutely. Nervousness is natural and often it just means you care. Together, we’ll work through that fear, not by ignoring it, but by reframing it. You’ll leave with tools to manage nerves and step into your power with more ease and confidence.
-
Do you offer one-time sessions or long-term packages?I offer both! You can book a single Power Session (like a Real Talk Audit or Unstuck Session), or sign up for a 4–6 week coaching container designed around your goals. If you’re not sure which path is best, start with a free discovery call and we’ll figure it out together.
-
Will I get worksheets or anything to work on between sessions?Yes, you’ll receive reflective prompts, intentional challenges, or personalized tools to support your growth between sessions. This is a partnership—you’re not alone in the work.
-
What makes this different from traditional coaching?Rooted and Real isn’t about becoming someone else—it’s about coming home to who you’ve always been. My approach blends grounded strategy with emotional awareness, intuitive insight, and practical skills. It’s coaching with depth, presence, and soul.
